This version (Version 1.20) adds an option that allows you to change the way muting works when incrementing / decrementing the volume of a muted zone. The current behavior is to inc/dec the volume from the current mute level. The new option allows the the muted zone to jump back to its original level before incrementing / decrementing the volume.

This version (Version 1.19a) makes a change to the default settings of the XDRZ command. If your SoloCATs don't seem to pass analog audio sometimes, you might give this version of firmware a try.

This command now defaults to sending analog audio to a SoloCAT receiver, instead of surround sound. For more information, read the history file and the description of the XDRZ command in the new serial protocol manual.

This version (Version 1.19) fixes a problem with digital audio muting when in the "Classic" mode. It adds the DUPZ command that allows you to copy one zone's sources to another.

Added support for dummy audio inputs. This allows video breakaway when switching to a security camera -- video will change to the security camera, but audio will be unchanged.

These updates fix an issue with the digital and analog input gain settings.

Support for disconnecting an output was added, this allows you to "Turn off" a room.

A new power setting was added "Locked", this setting keeps the Control4 driver from being able to turn off power to the switches.

Zektor is making a change to the Clarity Elite and Prowler series.

All semiconductor components used in the manufacturing of our products have greatly increased availability lead times. Many standard and specialized chips have gone from 6-8 weeks delivery to as much as 26 weeks or longer.

As we have polled our larger integrators, we have decided to make the lip sync capability an option as that component is constrained. We are maintaining limited available inventory for those who utilize that capability. The Clarity and Prowler will now ship without that option as standard. If you need or desire the lip sync option, it will now have a 14+ day lead time as it will have a special manufacturing process.

Our manufacturers have stated that they do not see availability lead times improving over the next 18 months as the global economy improves impacting supply / demand ratios. Zektor has planned for this and has bonded inventory programs with the largest component suppliers to ensure a long term consistent supply of raw goods for our products.

Dealing with an RSS feed for each product was inconvenient for the installer interested in keeping up to date with new firmware updates, and it was inconvenient for us to update multiple RSS feeds when a firmware update was released.

We've combined all announcements, including new products, firmware updates, new price sheets, etc. into this RSS feed.

This should make it easier for those who follow us, to keep up to date on what's new. And it will make it easier for us to publish news and important product notices.
